Economic Impact

The Mississippi Department of Transportation recently released an Economic Impact Report for airports that quantifies the effect airports have on the local economy. In the report, a breakout shows the Golden Triangle Regional Airport is responsible for $272,548,100 in economic activity, including $60,924,800 in payroll and 1,668 jobs.
